Overview
Job Summary:
The Delivery Manager – Evolve leads delivery, stabilization, budget, and vendor oversight for Allegis Group’s EVOLVE program, an enterprise Oracle-based HR and ERP systems transformation spanning hundreds of people and significant program investment. This role serves as one of the overall program leaders across all phases of the transformation lifecycle — Design/Build, Test, Deploy, and Hypercare — reporting to the Evolve Executive Director and operating as a peer the many Delivery and Business functions tied to the program. The role partners with senior program leadership to manage budget, staffing, vendor performance, phase specific governance, and executive-facing reporting across multiple process-area workstreams. The role leads the Allegis Group PMO for Evolve and serves as the main client-side lead directing the vendor PMOs supporting the effort.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Provide overall program leadership for the EVOLVE transformation effort, driving delivery outcomes across all phases of the program lifecycle (Design/Build, Test, Deploy, and Hypercare)
- Lead the Allegis Group PMO for the EVOLVE program, directly managing the internal PMO staff and overseeing several contractor Program Managers assigned to individual process-area workstreams; serve as the primary Allegis (client-side) point of accountability directing and coordinating the vendor PMOs supporting the program
- Lead delivery management and governance activities appropriate to the program’s current phase — including leading Hypercare stabilization efforts and War Room command during active stabilization periods — inclusive of daily/weekly leadership meeting cadences and updates
- Own budget tracking and reporting for the EVOLVE program, including professional services spend, headcount tracking, monthly vendor and contractor invoice approvals, and overall collaboration with IS Finance for monthly/quarterly forecasting, variance management, and procurement touchpoints; primary resource for annual budget creation for EVOLVE
- Help shape executive-level discussions — determining what content is presented and when — partnering with the Evolve Program Director and peer leaders to prepare and refine materials for Steering Committee and other leadership events
- Lead the Integrated Program Plan (IPP) across all teams and workstreams spanning the entire program — guiding the organization through the planning process, identifying major cross-team dependencies, developing mitigation strategies, and producing cost estimates — with the master program Gantt chart as the resulting output of that planning effort
- Manage vendor and contractor performance, including contract/SLA review and staffing strategy discussions
- Own resource forecasting and allocation planning for upcoming program releases, determining staffing needs and approach across workstreams in partnership with the PMO
- Coordinate PMO scheduling operations across large, cross-company distribution lists
Supervisory or Management Responsibility:
Exercises leadership and influence across a program comprising hundreds of people and a large investment in vendor and contractor spend. Leads the Allegis Group PMO for the EVOLVE program (5 internal direct reports), plus oversight of several contractor Program Managers supporting individual process-area workstreams; serves as the primary Allegis (client-side) lead responsible for directing and holding accountable the vendor PMOs supporting the program; manages team and PMO goals tied to milestones across each phase of the transformation lifecycle
Budget Responsibility:
Owns budget tracking for the EVOLVE program, including Professional Services spend (e.g., Oracle Professional Services), the annual budget planning process, and monthly approval authority over vendor and contractor invoices; maintains the EVOLVE Budget Version Tracker
