About The Role
- Own end-to-end delivery for an assigned business function, from discovery and planning through to testing, cutover and transition into live service.
- Build and maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the wider programme plan and critical dependencies.
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies across multiple teams, workstreams and suppliers, escalating where required.
- Coordinate the separation of systems, data, processes and services, including testing, cutover, business readiness and service transition activities.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, product and business stakeholders to remove blockers, manage scope and priorities, and provide clear delivery updates to senior stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or similar, delivering within a large and complex technology environment
- Experience delivering across large-scale transformation, separation, carve-out, migration or decommissioning programmes, coordinating multiple teams and workstreams.
- Strong experience managing risks, dependencies, issues, delivery plans and governance within fast-moving programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean and hybrid delivery approaches, with the ability to adapt delivery methods to suit the programme.
- Hands-on experience using delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex technology delivery clearly to senior audiences.
Experience within retail or store-facing technology, including tills, point-of-sale systems, store devices, workforce management, contact centres or store operations, would be advantageous. Experience of technology separation, transitional service agreement exits, cutover planning and operational readiness would also be beneficial.
