What you'll bring

You bring experience leading complex, customer-centred SAP projects in the healthcare sector — and know how to align stakeholders, teams, and technology around a shared goal in business-critical engagements.

  • A proven track record leading large-scale SAP implementation and transformation projects in hospital or healthcare environments
  • Deep knowledge of SAP solutions — on-premise and cloud — and how to deploy them strategically in healthcare contexts
  • A solid track record of commercial ownership: P&L management, contract governance, and new business development
  • Professional escalation and conflict management in critical project phases — composed and solution-focused
  • Confident leadership of cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation, including management of external partners and internal delivery units
  • Fluency in German and English is required for this role.

We also look for people who think strategically, understand the business, and can bring others along with them — combining influencing skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to work through complex problems confidently.

In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs, automating routine tasks and AI-assisted prototyping, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams.

What you'll build

As Delivery Partner for healthcare customers, you own business-critical SAP implementations and transformation programmes — from strategy through to measurable impact.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex SAP projects in the healthcare sector: scope, scheduling, risks, deliverables, and governance documentation
  • Manage and coordinate all relevant stakeholders — customer-side decision-makers, internal delivery units, and external partners
  • Lead commercial accountability for your customer set: P&L management, contract governance, and supporting the sales team in generating new business
  • Guide hospitals in developing and delivering their innovation roadmap — from digital strategy to concrete results
  • Manage escalations and critical project situations professionally — keeping customer relationships and delivery outcomes firmly on track
  • Act as a key voice in contract negotiations and actively shape the growth of the healthcare portfolio

Where you belong

You will join the Project Management & Architecture team within SAP Customer Services & Support, Area Public, focusing on healthcare customers in Germany. The team combines deep industry expertise with methodological leadership and is regarded as a driver of excellence in project management and architecture consulting for public sector customers. The rapid digitalisation of the German healthcare system — from hospital digitisation to integrated care structures — creates real space for impact. The role is available at multiple locations: Hamburg, Berlin, Ratingen, Eschborn, and Garching.
