Demand Planner

Demand Planner (12-18 Month FTC) – Scunthorpe/Hybrid – Competitive Salary

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading manufacturing business in Scunthorpe that is looking to recruit a Demand Planner to support their business on a 12-18 month contract.

As the Demand Planner, you'll own the monthly S&OP cycle end to end and bring demand, supply and production together into a single plan that keeps customers happy and the operation running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead the monthly S&OP cycle, facilitating Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP and Executive S&OP meetings
• Consolidate demand, supply, inventory and financial assumptions into one operating plan
• Develop and maintain rolling 3, 6, 12 and 24 month forecasts, working with Sales, Product Management and Projects to improve accuracy
• Translate forecasts into material, supply and capacity requirements, identifying gaps and recommending mitigation plans
• Build and maintain finite production schedules, releasing and prioritising work orders
• Run and review MRP outputs, managing lead times, safety stocks and reorder policies
• Maintain planning data integrity within the ERP system and support process and system improvements
• Support new product introduction, product transitions and end-of-life planning

Previous Experience:

• A background in demand planning or supply chain planning
• Strong understanding of S&OP or Integrated Business Planning principles
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (IFS would be a real advantage)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Confident communicator
