What is Benchmark Labs

Benchmark Labs is a venture-backed start-up working on improving weather forecasts for the agricultural and energy sectors. We are one of the six companies selected by Nextview’s Everyday Economy accelerator, we are part of The Maritime Alliance’s BlueTech Incubator, Plug and Play’s Insurtech Batch 8, and the Southern California Energy Innovation Network (SCEIN).

We work on providing tailored forecasts for specific locations around the globe by using publicly available datasets, information from IoT sensors and novel machine learning techniques. We believe that we need to build-upon traditional weather forecasting approaches that divide the world in grids but are not suited for making asset-specific decisions, as all the points inside of a grid receive the same information.

We are seeking an individual excited about bleeding edge climate technology to scale up our customer success team. You will work directly with the CEO and CSO to onboard new customers and construct playbooks for product deployment and new hires.

Who you are

• Excited about bleeding edge climate technology

• Passionate about collaborating on an early-mid stage startup

• Able to meet ambiguous problems head on and bring innovative solutions

• 4+ years of experience in customer success and/or product management

• Experience in the agriculture industry (particularly in specialty crops like wine) is a plus!

• Experience in SaaS is a plus!

• Experience in early stage startups is a plus!
