About the Job
Tech Office, DevOps & IT – Deployment Engineer
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Deployment Engineer to join our ADMS deployment organization.
You will work as a Deployment Engineer on deploying our ADMS product solution for on-premises and cloud test environments, gaining in-depth knowledge of our ADMS solution, deployment architecture, project lifecycle, tools, processes, procedures and ways of working, while building strong relationships with the deployment teams and key stakeholders.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who wants to own complex deployment challenges end-to-end including their security aspects and be the go-to technical expert.
Our team is growing, and we're open to considering candidates of different seniority levels from those with solid hands-on deployment experience to more senior technical experts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Deployment Engineer, you will:
- Work hands-on as a Deployment Engineer on ADMS software products.
- Independently execute and track deployment activities across product test environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Perform and coordinate ADMS installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, licensing and deployment system verification.
- Apply security best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle, including certificate management, access policies (GPOs) and secure configuration of on-premises and cloud environments.
- Coordinate deployment activities with Release Managers, Architects, Test Managers, Product Security Office, Development teams and other technical stakeholders.
- Produce and maintain deployment documentation, including system configuration plans, handover documentation, system status pages and deployment records.
- Identify and troubleshoot deployment-related issues, risks and recurring problems, and drive them to resolution.
- Share knowledge and best practices with peers, and support onboarding of new team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment practices, tools and processes.
- Actively use AI/Copilot tools to speed up documentation, troubleshooting and analysis, improving both efficiency and the quality of output.
- Act as a gatekeeper for product quality before the release of any minor or major software version.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software deployment, infrastructure, systems engineering or technical task delivery in complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting enterprise software solutions.
- Experience as a Deployment/Technical Engineer or similar technical delivery role.
- Experience managing certificates at the operating system level, including installation, renewal and troubleshooting of certificate-related issues.
- The ability to identify risks early, communicate them clearly and drive issues through to resolution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, Product, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams.
- Experience working with Azure cloud environments, including provisioning and managing virtual machines, networking and related cloud infrastructure components.
- Experience configuring and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPOs), including troubleshooting and maintaining policy settings across systems.
- Proactive use of AI/Copilot tools to support deployment activities from automating repetitive tasks and troubleshooting, to speeding up documentation and analysis in order to work more efficiently and deliver higher-quality results.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience with ADMS, utility software, SCADA/ADMS/OMS or other mission-critical enterprise systems would be a strong advantage, but we are also interested in candidates with relevant experience from other complex software deployment environments.
Why This Role Matters
Deployment is a critical part of successful ADMS project delivery. This role will strengthen our deployment capability through hands-on technical and security expertise, helping to improve planning accuracy, technical consistency, delivery quality, documentation standards and knowledge sharing across projects.
Key responsibility for the deployment strategy of the software portfolio, which should align with emerging trends and strongly promote simplification, easy-to-deploy and modern security concepts, while minimizing human intervention.
Education:
- University degree (VSS/VS, VII/VI degree), preferably from a Technical Faculty.
