Deputy Project Manager
Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, a social science-related discipline, or background in law, and at least five years of demonstrated child welfare experience
Experience Required
  • High level of expertise in child welfare, juvenile justice, and serving immigrant youth and families at the management level
  • Experience working with immigrant youth and families and underserved populations is strongly encouraged.
Job Objective
Develop and maintain regional and national case program(s) that provide child welfare-based recommendations on each UAC case, particularly in the areas of safe and timely release, identification of and development of corresponding recommendations for children with special needs, and placement recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Be the contractor's primary point of contact for COR and shall oversee staffing, management, and reporting
  • Direct work priorities to maintain a professionally managed program
  • Conduct annual site reviews of all case coordinators to evaluate case coordination compliance with the Contract, ORR policy and procedures, timely performance of tasks and deliverables, collaboration with ORR and stakeholders, and training needs
