About the Role

Our client has requested us to seek for an experienced Solutions Architect / Tech Lead to drive the design, evolution, and engineering excellence of our enterprise cloud software applications. In this role, you will lead technical teams, translate complex business requirements into resilient and scalable software architectures, and modernize legacy systems using Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Serverless technologies across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Governance: Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, distributed enterprise systems using Modern .NET, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• System Modernization: Spearhead the migration of legacy monolithic systems into modern Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Cloud & Serverless Messaging: Design scalable messaging patterns (Publish/Subscribe, Queues, Topics) using Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or AWS API Gateway/Lambda for decoupled payment and event processing.
• Data Warehousing & Analytics: Design and optimize enterprise data pipelines, leveraging GCP BigQuery alongside SQL Server for large-scale analytics, reporting, and high-performance querying.
• Business & Financial Domain Logic: Architect complex workflows and reusable backend components for enterprise accounting, LATAM tax compliance, automated payment retries, and bank reconciliations.
• Engineering Productivity & AI: Foster engineering excellence by integrating modern AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery, testing, and debugging.
• Full-Stack & Multi-Cloud Vision: Provide end-to-end guidance across backend services (.NET Core/C#, with exposure to Go/Python), frontend architectures (Angular), and multi-cloud data environments (GCP BigQuery, SQL Server, SSIS).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong progression into Solutions Architecture or Tech Lead roles.
• Core Ecosystem: Deep technical mastery in .NET Core / C# and relational database design/tuning (SQL Server).
• Data Warehousing & Analytics: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery for designing scalable data repositories, optimizing analytical queries, and integrating BigQuery with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Cloud & Messaging: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Service Bus, Azure Functions, API Management) or AWS (Lambda, API Gateway), along with message brokers (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
• Architectural Patterns: Solid understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Serverless, REST APIs, and NoSQL/Relational data modeling.
• Data Integration: Proven background in ETL/ELT processes, SSIS, BigQuery data streams, and mass data migration workflows.
• Languages: Native/Bilingual Spanish and Professional English Proficiency (B2 or higher).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Frontend & Tooling: Hands-on experience building web applications with Angular (v10–v16+) and utilizing AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Polyglot Exposure: Familiarity with modern secondary languages (e.g., Go, Python) in microservices architectures.
• Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Azure Developer Associat (a plus)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• GCP Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certifications (a plus)
• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience building financial platforms, billing systems, or banking integrations in Latin American markets.
