Design Lead Design Lead We are looking for a Design Lead, who is convinced that strategic design can create real business value when based on profound human insights and future scenarios. The role is based at our Stockholm office, but you will work internationally with colleagues and clients. Do you want to push evidence-based design forward on a global market? Then apply for this position! The role The Design Lead role is vivid and variable. We work in close collaboration with clients in our projects, and you will work together with a team of strategic, creative and analytic experts. Your primary job is to lead brand creative development, ensuring the highest possible standards from start to client delivery. Besides being a brand identity design expert, we highly value that you have experience from UI/UX projects. We are eager to find the right candidate, this could be a mid-level or more senior role depending on fit. Key responsibilities Working as a holistic design resource in client projects. Translate strategic objectives and brand strategies into clear creative strategies and execution. Lead the creative process from concept to completion, in collaboration with Design Director and Creative Director. Review work, lead and educate more junior designers and interns in projects. Execute a high level of craftsmanship and aesthetics across all brand design disciplines. Identify and act on opportunities for design and brand identity work in client projects. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a high level of understanding of brand strategy and have the ability to comfortably move across creative disciplines, including interaction, print, and spatial. We believe you are experienced working with stakeholder management, and that you thrive working with a variety of clients for shorter projects, as well as one client for longer periods of time. At times, you may also work independently on smaller projects. Experience from work with sales and pitches is a plus. Higher education within Visual communication, Graphic Design, Brand Communication, Brand Design, UI/UX, or similar. 6+ years of creative experience, preferably including international work with global brands. Relevant experience working with the craftsmanship of design and brand identity. Including logotype design, typography, color management, photography, illustrations and guidelines. Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc. Experience working with UI/UX. Business proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English. In this role, you would likely work with one of our larger clients in Asia. Therefore, it is considered a plus if you are able to travel to Asia a few times a year. Apply now!
