This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Design Manager / Project Manager looking for a broader role, or an Assistant Design Manager, Design Coordinator, Architectural Technologist, Technical Manager or Project Manager ready to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in ensuring design information is coordinated, compliant, buildable and delivered on time, whilst working closely with our project, commercial, pre-construction and operational teams.

As Arcus Projects continues to grow, this role offers genuine opportunity to develop your career, broaden your experience across a diverse portfolio of national projects and help shape how design management evolves within the business.

  • Supporting BIM, document control and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
  • Assisting with Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and CDM compliance requirements.

Pre-Construction Support

  • Contributing to design reviews and buildability assessments.
  • Assisting with consultant appointments and design responsibility matrices.
  • Supporting the development of design programmes and project methodologies.
  • Participating in client presentations and tender interviews when required.

Project & Programme Coordination

  • Supporting Project and Contracts Managers with planning, reporting and project controls.
  • Monitoring design progress and identifying impacts to programme, cost and delivery.
  • Providing project updates and supporting governance reporting.
  • Assisting with project close-out, handover documentation and lessons learned activities.

Commercial & Risk Management

  • Supporting value engineering and buildability reviews.
  • Identifying design-related risks, opportunities and change implications.
