We’re partnering with an independent, full-service provider of UCITS ETFs and ETCs in Europe. Its CBI-authorised management company oversees a multi-billion, fast-growing ETF range with a busy launch pipeline. They’re now looking for a Designated Person for Operational Risk (PCF-39B) to join the Dublin team.

You’ll report to the CEO, with direct access to the Board and the Chair of the Risk Committee, and you’ll have real influence over how the function evolves.

What you’ll own

  • The operational risk framework, risk register, KRIs and the incident and error log
  • Third-party risk, including due diligence and oversight of administrators, depositaries and other key providers
  • ICT risk and DORA compliance, including the register of information and incident reporting
  • Operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Selecting and rolling out a new GRC system
  • Quarterly Board reporting and engagement with the Central Bank
  • Line management of a DP Support team member

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive operational risk experience in Irish-regulated financial services, either holding a PCF or working closely alongside one
  • A track record of building and running an operational risk framework
  • Hands-on DORA implementation experience
  • Strong knowledge of outsourcing, CP86 and CBI operational resilience guidance
  • Confidence writing for boards and engaging with the regulator
  • A relevant degree, plus the right to work in Ireland

UCITS ETF experience, GRC system implementation, data skills (SQL, Python, Power BI) or a professional qualification (PRM, IOB, ACCA, CFA) would all be a bonus.

This is a permanent role, hybrid with 3 days a week in the office.
