Job Duties:
  1. Drawing upon understanding of architectural concepts, assist in developing the design with respect to the concept;
  2. Interpret design concept for clarity and constructability;
  3. Independently execute production of interior and exterior construction documents with design intent and technical quality;
  4. Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques/methodologies;
  5. Uphold the design concept through all decisions;
  6. Follow through on coordination items, anticipate and communicate how changes and development impact the project holistically;
  7. Assist with the architectural construction administration process to ensure design intent;
  8. Apply understanding of building and accessibility codes; and
  9. Lead the development of project design concepts.
Telecommuting is an option. The individual must reside within commuting distance of the office to be in-office a minimum of three days per week.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Employer requires a Master of Science in Architecture or closely related field and at least four (4) years of experience in any occupation understanding and addressing unique architectural design challenges.
In addition, the employer requires the following:
  1. Demonstrated ability engaging in design documentation gained through four years of work experience;
  2. Demonstrated ability communicating with team members to convey design concepts and communicating design concepts to clients gained through four years of work experience;
  3. Demonstrated ability with project management and preparing diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings and physical models gained through four years of work experience; and
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) gained through four years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
This position is eligible for the Arrowstreet Employee Referral Incentive Program.
Salary: $102,128 to $122,128 per year.
