Position Overview

Soaring Eagle is seeking an experienced Desktop Utility Inspector T&D to review drone-collected imagery of electric utility distribution and transmission assets. This position is fully remote and supports utility inspection programs across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drone-collected RGB and infrared imagery of utility poles, lines, and related equipment.

• Identify and classify defects and assign severity ratings in accordance with customer and company standards.

• Annotate findings accurately in inspection software.

• Escalate safety-critical findings promptly to the Project Manager.

• Meet production and quality targets within project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electric utility distribution or transmission experience.

• Prior desktop or imagery-based inspection experience.

• Ability to work independently.

• Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of running inspection

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as Journeyman Lineman or Qualified Electrical Worker
