Destination Expert

Location: Hungary | Remote | Full-time or Part-time

Corporate Travel Agency is an international DMC and Business Travel company with over 13 years of experience delivering MICE, Group Travel, Luxury FIT and corporate travel services across Central Europe.

We are looking for a Destination Expert based in Hungary who understands the Central European tourism and MICE market and has practical knowledge of all four destinations:

• Czech Republic
• Hungary
• Austria
• Germany

You will support our Project Managers by helping them find the right suppliers, hotels, venues, restaurants, transportation options and local solutions across all four countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate hotels, restaurants, venues, activities and other suppliers.
• Prepare destination recommendations, sample itineraries and creative programme ideas.
• Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
• Negotiate rates, commissions and commercial conditions.
• Develop long-term relationships with Preferred Suppliers.
• Maintain an accurate database of suppliers, prices, contracts and operational information.
• Structure destination knowledge for the company’s internal AI knowledge base.
• Support Project Managers during project planning and delivery.
• Monitor new openings, tourism products and pricing trends.

Requirements

• Must be permanently based in Hungary.
• Strong practical knowledge of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Germany.
• Experience in DMC, MICE, Business Travel, Group Travel, tourism or hospitality.
• Good knowledge of suppliers, hotels, venues and tourism infrastructure across Central Europe.
• Fluent English.
• Strong research and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, independent approach.
• Confident use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or similar.

An existing supplier network, commercial negotiation experience and familiarity with CRM systems or knowledge bases would be an advantage.
