Job Description

• Investigating physical relationships to improve the performance of our testing systems using FEM simulation in collaboration with the Measurement Technology and Algorithms departments
• Analysis of system-relevant parameters in collaboration with experts in measurement technology
• Setting up and adapting the simulation
• Optimizing the results
• Analyzing simulation results through automated data evaluation
• Independent further development of the simulation environment
• Expansion of simulations for new measurement systems
• Documentation and presentation of results
• Collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals
• Opportunity to take on project responsibility

Your Qualifications

• A completed degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
• Solid expertise in FEM simulation (e.g., COMSOL)
• Ideally in the field of magnetic simulation
• A very good understanding of physics to adapt the simulation to parameters of the real and experimental environment
• Enjoy working as part of a team - here, everyone supports one another
• Self-motivated, organized, and independent work style
• Very good German language skills required
• Good English skills are desirable
