About the role:
Accounts & Payments is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective. As a .NET Developer within Payments & Reporting, you will play a key role in SEB’s digital transformation journey, helping to shape the future of the bank. You will be part of an agile international team of highly motivated and creative colleagues that work in close collaboration with our product owners and business specialists. Cross collaboration and interaction with other teams within Technology with focus on our delivery is also part of the work. The team’s main responsibility is to develop and maintain systems for the Payments domain.
Our technical landscape is based on a modern microservices architecture, with responsive web applications developed using contemporary engineering practices. Our stack includes C#, .NET, MSSQL, Kafka, Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript. We use Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containerization. For version control we use GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Most of our containers use Linux so some basic Linux skills are required. Since our applications run 24/7, on-call is part of the job.
To thrive in the role, we believe you have:

5+ years programming experience with C#
-
Experience working with front end technologies Angular/React (willing to up-skill in Angular if needed)

Experience in using AI-tools and you want to use AI-tools for most of the development tasks.

Experience in developing microservices and Single Page Applications.

Experience in developing and executing API- and integration tests based on software requirements. Using tools such as ReadyAPI, Protractor, Selenium and Web-based UI tests.

A passion for development including test automation with a creative and curious mindset for new technologies, platforms, and tools. You often have taken the initiative to implement new technologies and/or tools for test automation.

A strong sense of responsibility and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with a deep appreciation for teamwork and agile methodologies. You have actively been improving collaboration with other teams.

A focus on delivering high-quality service to internal counterparties and stakeholders

A university-level education in a field related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related subject

A very positive, problem solving and helpful person
It would be considered an advantage, if you have:

Experience deploying and hosting applications in GCP

Have some experience around performance tuning and security compliance

Experience from financial industry in general and the payments sector in particular
