Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer

Vertex Agility is a global IT consulting and technology services organization helping enterprise customers modernize their infrastructure and build cloud-native, scalable, and AI-enabled platforms.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to join our growing engineering team and work on modern cloud-native environments for enterprise customers.

This is not a traditional support/operations role. We are looking for someone who is hands-on with cloud infrastructure, automation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, reliability engineering, and increasingly AI/GenAI-enabled engineering workflows.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, automate, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tools such as Ansible.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
• Implement reliability engineering practices including SLAs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and continuous improvement.
• Build automation to reduce manual operational activities and improve platform reliability.
• Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, and performance improvements across distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in root-cause analysis and blameless postmortems.
• Work closely with software engineers, architects, product teams, and operations teams in an Agile environment.
• Support cloud platforms and infrastructure for AI/ML and GenAI-enabled applications.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into DevOps and SRE workflows where appropriate.
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives focused on automation, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
