Build and evolve our cloud and DevOps platform

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering background and proven experience across the software development lifecycle, test automation and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

You will work across development and platform engineering, helping to build, deploy and operate reliable applications and services using modern cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes and AWS ECS.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, build and maintain reliable DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines across the software development lifecycle.

• Support containerised applications and cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes and AWS ECS.

• Develop automation to improve the reliability, scalability and efficiency of engineering processes.

• Build and maintain automated testing solutions across the development lifecycle.

• Apply SRE principles to improve system availability, performance and resilience.

• Work closely with software engineers to embed DevOps and operational best practices throughout the SDLC.

• Develop tooling and automation using Python.

• Support React-based applications through development, deployment and operational processes.

• Monitor application and platform performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues and contribute to robust, sustainable solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Strong software engineering experience with a solid understanding of the full SDLC.

• Strong DevOps experience across development, deployment and operational environments.

• Proven experience with test automation and automated quality engineering.

• Strong SRE experience, with a focus on reliability, scalability and performance.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.

• Strong experience with AWS ECS and cloud-based application deployment.

• Experience developing automation and tooling using Python.

• Experience working with React and modern application development environments.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of software engineering and cloud-native best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams.
