DevOps Engineer

Fit4Me is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the project's architecture and grow it within our in-house team — with the highest level of autonomy.

Your main challenge: audit the current architecture, propose and implement key improvements (with a strong focus on infrastructure security), working in close partnership with different departments across the company.

Your area of Impact:

• Architecture audit and improvement: auditing the project's architecture and proposing key improvements.
• AWS infrastructure development and support: growing and maintaining infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, ALB, Route53, CloudFront, S3, ECR, IAM, SSM, WAF, CloudWatch, RDS).
• Infrastructure as Code: implementing and maintaining IaC through Terraform and Ansible.
• CI/CD process ownership: building and improving CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions, including implementing the "build once – deploy everywhere" principle.
• Secrets and security management: managing secrets and security through HashiCorp Vault.
• Monitoring and alerting: setting up monitoring and alerting through the Prometheus stack (Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Infrastructure security: protecting payments, preventing data leaks, configuring logs and alerts, defending against DDoS attacks, and blocking fraud.
• Cross-department architecture support: handling architecture-related requests from different departments (for example, migrating a SQL database from EC2 to AWS RDS).
• System reliability: supporting the smooth operation of Nginx, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

What do you need to join us:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Confident command of Linux, Bash, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Deep knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS, ALB, Route53, CloudFront, S3, ECR, IAM, SSM, WAF, CloudWatch, RDS).
• Experience working with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience setting up monitoring through the Prometheus stack (Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Experience working with Nginx, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Git.
• A high level of autonomy, proactivity, and initiative in your daily work.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across multiple departments.
• English proficiency at B1-B2 level (nice to have).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with GCP alongside AWS.
• Experience conducting architecture audits within product teams.
• Practical understanding of GDPR: data residency, user rights, retention, and breach notification.
• Experience working with AI services — understanding of EU AI Act requirements for data transfer to LLM providers.
• Basic understanding of PCI DSS, including scope minimization principles.
• Knowledge of US privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA), especially as they apply to health data.
• Understanding of SOC 2 / ISO 27001 requirements and readiness to bring infrastructure to audit.
