DevOps Engineer

About the Job

As a DevOps Engineer at Aspire, you will combine your hands-on DevOps, cloud, and containerization experience to build and maintain reliable CI/CD platforms and secure containerized environments. You will work across Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, and scripting while collaborating with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment automation, reliability, and security.

What you’ll do

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Develop reusable pipeline templates, automation, and deployment workflows.
  
• Support AWS EKS/Kubernetes deployments and troubleshoot application workloads.
  
• Manage container image lifecycles and support OS and container vulnerability patching.
  
• Monitor and remediate container vulnerabilities using tools such as Wiz or Snyk.
  
• Maintain, update, and improve base container images.
  
• Automate DevOps and infrastructure tasks using Terraform, Python, and Bash.
  
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline, deployment, infrastructure, and container-related issues.
  
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve CI/CD and security processes.
  
• Contribute to deployment reliability, automation, documentation, and DevOps best practices.
  

What you’ll need

• 2–4 years of relevant DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
  
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
  
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container technologies.
  
• Understanding of container and operating system patching and vulnerability remediation.
  
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
  
• Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
  
• Scripting experience with Python and Bash.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with development, security, and infrastructure teams.
  
• Understanding of secure software delivery and DevOps best practices.
  
• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
