🛠️ What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the reliability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• CI/CD & Automation: Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable deployments with minimal downtime.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, maintain, and optimize highly available systems on Google Cloud, including load balancing, autoscaling, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud spending through resource right-sizing, committed use discounts, and efficient infrastructure planning.
• Kubernetes Management: Manage and optimize production Kubernetes clusters, including resource allocation, autoscaling, node pools, and workload scheduling.
• Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, promoting consistent, automated, and reproducible deployments.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Define SLIs and SLOs, implement monitoring and alerting, and contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and integrate new GCP-native and third-party services to support evolving product requirements.
• Containerization: Develop and maintain efficient, secure Docker configurations for development and production environments.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to improve architecture, deployment processes, and testing environments.

🎯 What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and managing production workloads.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, resource optimization, networking, RBAC, and storage.
• Proven experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and GitOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Google Cloud Operations.
• Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical decisions, and communicate effectively across teams.
• Experience with high-traffic, real-time, or transaction-heavy platforms would be a strong advantage.
