DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer— Java / Groovy / Jira / Red Hat

Location: Luxembourg (1 week onsite, then fully remote, up to 6 years)

Rate: EUR 540/day (Engineer)

Contract: Contract B2B

Shifts for Engineer: 07:00–20:00 CET (early 07:00–16:00, late 11:00–20:00)

EU Citizenship is Mandatory

Our customer is looking for one profile above all: a Java developer who is also a Unix sysadmin, ideally with Atlassian migration experience on top.

The absolute must-haves:

- Java coding — current or previous, hands-on development

- Groovy scripting

- Jira — administration, customization, or development

- Red Hat / Unix system administration

That is the hard filter. If you have all four, we want to speak to you.

The cherry on top:

- Atlassian migration experience — Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence

- ScriptRunner, Atlassian SDK

Bonus:

- OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker

- Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD

- Zammad, OpenProject, XWiki — or willingness to learn

Requirements:

- EU citizenship

- Fluent English

- 5+ years Cloud/DevOps experience

DevOps Engineer: Deploy, integrate, and operate the new stack. Build custom Zammad forms, maintain the Atlassian suite, run CI/CD pipelines. On-call rotation is mandatory — 7 consecutive days including weekends, EUR 290 per day on-call bonus, plus 150–200% weekend, public holiday, and bank holiday rates. Shift work required.
