DevOps Engineer
Remote within Poland (one day a month in the Warsaw or Wrocław office)
Permanent UoP | Immediate start
I’m working with an established UK software consultancy that’s growing its team in Poland. You’ll be employed directly by them on a permanent UoP contract and placed on a long-running education platform, as part of an engineering practice with a clear career framework and senior engineers to learn from.
The infrastructure and team are already in place. Your job is to own the cloud setup and delivery pipelines, keep them running and make them better.
What you’ll be doing
• Owning and improving Azure infrastructure, managed as code in Terraform
• Running Kubernetes workloads (AKS), deployed with Helm
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitLab or GitHub Actions
• Keeping the platform reliable, secure and cost-effective
• Working day to day with the client’s engineering team
What you’ll need
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes
• Terraform in production
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Strong spoken English and confidence working directly with client engineers
• The right to work in Poland and to be based near Warsaw or Wrocław
• Availability to start in November
Nice to have
Argo CD or Flux · Prometheus, Grafana or Azure Monitor · Azure networking and security (VNets, private endpoints, Key Vault, RBAC) · PowerShell, Bash or Python · AZ-104, AZ-400, CKA or Terraform Associate
Why it’s worth a look
• The security of a permanent UoP contract, with paid leave and sick pay, while working almost fully remote
• Annual bonus, funded certifications, and a MacBook or Windows laptop
• Long-term engagements, with other client programmes to move onto when one ends
• A growing Polish team and senior engineers to learn from
