We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an international project within the automotive technology sector. You will play a key role in standardizing software delivery processes, consolidating development platforms, and enabling multiple product teams to build, test, secure, and release software in a consistent and reliable way.

🧡 About the Project

As part of the Developer Experience team, you will help bring dozens of product teams onto a common engineering platform. Working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders, you will build reusable CI/CD standards, improve software delivery processes, strengthen security practices, and enhance observability across both cloud-based services and on-premises products used by automotive dealerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate source code repositories into a unified GitHub organization.
• Define and enforce repository standards, including ownership, branching strategies, code reviews, and approval workflows.
• Design and implement reusable CI/CD pipeline templates for build, testing, security scanning, and software releases.
• Support the migration and onboarding of multiple product teams onto the new platform.
• Automate software delivery processes for both cloud-native and on-premises applications.
• Establish release management standards, including versioning, approvals, environments, artifact management, and rollback strategies.
• Integrate security scanning into development pipelines, including SAST, SCA, secrets detection, and container security.
• Manage pipeline credentials, secrets, and access permissions securely.
• Implement observability standards across services, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
• Define and monitor software delivery performance metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery.
• Produce clear technical documentation and operational guidelines.
• Coach development teams and internal platform engineers to ensure long-term adoption and success.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build Engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven experience migrating multiple repositories into a centralized development platform.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD frameworks used across multiple teams.
• Experience working with both cloud services and installed/on-premises software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions (or equivalent platforms).
• Experience building pipelines for .NET and other modern software stacks.
• Hands-on experience with Containers and Kubernetes.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar technologies.
• Experience working with both AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security scanning solutions covering code, dependencies, secrets, and containers.
• Experience implementing observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Azure Application Insights, or similar tools.
• Fluent English communication skills (mandatory).

Nice to Have

• Experience within the Automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• Experience working with GDPR-regulated environments.
• Familiarity with DORA engineering and delivery metrics.
• Experience with AI-powered development practices, such as AI-assisted code reviews.
