🚀DevOps Engineer – Databricks & Data Platform Operations 🚀

📍 Location: Romania (Remote) | Start Date: November 2026

📅Project Duration: Initial short-term engagement with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an enterprise data platform.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Databricks, GitLab CI/CD, SQL, and Data Platform Operations, with a focus on platform stability, automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable operation and maintenance of an enterprise data platform.
• Monitor platform infrastructure, scheduled jobs, and data processing workflows.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Manage GitLab repositories and deployment processes.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Support controlled deployments, releases, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with platform teams to ensure reliable operations and integrations.
• Support the technical integration of new data sources, including connectivity and access management.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Databricks, including Jobs, Clusters, and Workspace Administration.
• Experience operating and maintaining enterprise data platforms.
• Good SQL skills, particularly for troubleshooting and error analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

🔹 Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Platform.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with Data Governance processes.
• German language skills.
