Job Description
This is a remote position.
Position: DevOps Engineer
100% Remote!
Required Must-Have Skills:
- 8+ Years in DevOps Engineering
- Hands-on experience in Mobile, specifically Xcode
- Strong understanding of Build Machine (like Mac Mini or Android Builds) – Must know how to make Build machines.
- Azure Pipelines
- Bash Scripting
LaunchTech is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the Point-of-Sale Service and related projects. This position will be responsible for designing and building the CI/CD pipeline to support automated client builds and regression tests via Jenkins. The DevOps Engineer will build and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across Production, QA, and Development environments throughout the development lifecycle. The DevOps Engineer will monitor, troubleshoot, and help maintain the infrastructure for the service, continuously improve the building, packaging, and deployment processes. Implement automated infrastructure capabilities for backups, security, monitoring and developer requests. Additionally, the DevOps Engineer will utilize the knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools such as AWS, Terraform, and Jenkins.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and building the CI/CD pipeline to support automated client builds and regression tests.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery
- Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and helping maintain the infrastructure for the service, continuously improve the building, packaging, and deployment processes
- Responsible for implementing automated infrastructure capabilities for backups, security, monitoring and developer requests
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Jenkins, Xcode, Bash Scripting and focuses on Build machine (like mac mini or android builds) – must know how to make Build machines
- Experience with Build machines in Mac specifically
- Can teach Android
- Experience with Fortify
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with Android (Gradle) is a plus
- Proven collaboration and communication skills
