DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time B2B remote basis, working with one of the largest payment processing companies in the market , a leading fintech player powering high-volume, mission-critical payment platforms. As a DevOps Engineer, you will: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and highly reliable payment cloud platform (with a planned migration to GCP), supporting a large-scale payment ecosystem Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient deployment of new features and updates in a high-throughput environment Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to support critical financial infrastructure Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform Monitor, analyze, and optimize platform performance to ensure high availability, resilience, and security for payment systems operating at scale Continuously enhance delivery processes and tooling to accelerate time to market in a fast-moving fintech environment Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely resolution of production incidents impacting live payment operations We are looking for someone who has: Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform Solid understanding of the Java and Spring ecosystem Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins Experience in building and maintaining payment platforms is considered a strong advantage, especially in high-volume transaction environments Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact, deadline-driven environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Fluency in English Residence within the EU and eligibility to work on a B2B basis Interested?
