Als DevOps Engineer Firewalling verantwortet du den Betrieb, die Weiterentwicklung und den Schutz sicherheitskritischer Netzwerk- und Applikationsumgebungen. Im Fokus stehen moderne Firewall-, WAF- und Zero-Trust-Lösungen sowie hochverfügbare Security-Services für die Digitale Plattform der Armee. Damit wird ein direkter Beitrag zur sicheren digitalen Transformation und zur Resilienz der Schweizer Armee geleistet.

• Betrieb, Konfiguration und Weiterentwicklung von Enterprise-Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF) sowie VPN- und Remote-Access-Lösungen
• Verantwortung für die Sicherheit und Verfügbarkeit kritischer Netzwerk- und Applikationsservices durch moderne Schutzmechanismen wie Zero Trust, DDoS-Schutz und Bot-Management
• Analyse und Behebung komplexer Netzwerk- und Security-Vorfälle mittels Traffic-Analysen, Logs und Packet Captures
• Planung und Umsetzung hochverfügbarer Sicherheitsarchitekturen inklusive Failover- und Load-Balancing-Konzepte
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Netzwerk-, Security-, DevOps- und Applikationsteams sowie Mitgestaltung der Automatisierung von Security-Prozessen und modernen Infrastrukturservices

Deine Skills

• Abschluss (Uni/ETH/FH) in Informatik oder vergleichbare Berufserfahrung
• Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung im Bereich Firewalling, Netzwerk-Security oder Infrastrukturbetrieb mit moderner Firewall- und WAF-Technologien
• Kenntnisse in Netzwerk- und Security-Protokollen wie TCP/IP, NAT, VPN, IPS/IDS sowie SSL/TLS
• Erfahrung im sicheren Betrieb hochverfügbarer Netzwerk- und Security-Architekturen und Traffic-Management (Load-Balancing und Reverse-Proxy-Technologien)
• Sehr gutes Verständnis typischer Web-Applikationsrisiken und entsprechender Schutzmassnahmen sowie lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise im Incident- und Troubleshooting-Umfeld
• Kenntnisse im Bereich Automatisierung, Infrastructure-as-Code oder API-Integration von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse in Cloud- und Hybrid-Umgebungen (z. B. Azure, AWS oder Kubernetes-basierte Infrastrukturen) von Vorteil
• Sehr gutes Deutsch in Wort und Schrift
