Description

As a DFM Sequencing Agent, you support the review, preparation, and sequencing of customer designs to ensure they align with SendCutSend's production capabilities. This role focuses on detailed DFM checks, using specialized software to sequence parts for Press Brake teams, and coordinating with internal teams to help move orders smoothly from intake to production. While training is provided, this position requires a strong foundation in sheet metal fabrication and CAD-based design work, along with a high level of attention to detail and comfort working directly with customers.

What you’ll do

  • Sequence parts using specialized software to support efficient Press Brake production and workflow.
  • Screen incoming orders to confirm compliance with production capabilities and company guidelines, making file adjustments as needed based on work order requirements.
  • Review customer specifications to identify the appropriate product and service options while supporting company goals and targets.
  • Communicate daily with customers, Production, and the Support teams regarding orders with manufacturability concerns.
  • Collaborate with programming and production teams to reduce production issues and improve internal processes.
  • Provide clear updates to production teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC systems and programming software in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Working knowledge of CAD software such as Fusion, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, including explaining technical information in a straightforward and understandable way.
  • Comfortability working in a remote setting across multiple teams in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and interpret technical files.
  • Proficient in computer and typing skills, with the ability to learn proprietary and specialized software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in sheet metal design, manufacturing, or estimating.
  • Experience communicating technical feedback directly to customers.
  • Background working in a high-volume or on-demand manufacturing environment.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Employee must establish and maintain a dedicated, safe, confidential, and ergonomic home workspace.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment for remote work.
  • Experience with production sequencing, scheduling, or workflow software in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

  • This role is a work from home position in a fast paced, collaborative environment that requires consistent communication, organization, and coordination across multiple remote teams.
Salary Description
$25.00 - $30.00/hour
