We’re looking for a confident, proactive Digital Ad Specialist & Client Manager to join our team at Rushton Marketing!

This isn’t your average behind-the-scenes ad role - we need someone who not only knows how to build and optimise killer ad campaigns, but can also own the client relationship. You’ll be meeting with clients, leading strategy sessions, and driving results across Meta, TikTok, and Google platforms predominately

What you'll actually be doing

• Being the go-to person for your own portfolio of NZ business owners - running client meetings, building genuine relationships, and making sure nobody ever feels forgotten.
• Managing the day-to-day delivery of digital ads (predominately, Google, Meta, TikTok and ChatGPT)
• Managing ad budgets and reporting on performance metrics, turning them into plain-English insights and recommendations.
• Testing, measuring and refining to squeeze more ROI and more leads out of every dollar.
• Spotting emerging trends, keeping an eye on the competition, and finding new opportunities before your clients ask.
• The occasional bit of content creation - a social post here, a landing page tweak there.

You'll fit right in if you have

• 3+ years hands-on in a performance or digital marketing role - agency experience preferred.
• Proven experience managing multiple clients at once
• Proven experience in managing Meta, TikTok and Google Ads
• Knowledge of how to set up tracking across multiple platforms and websites.
• An analytical brain that turns data into action, not just a screenshot in a report.
• The ability to talk to small business owners like humans, because they're not marketers.
• A sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in.
