About Gresham
Gresham Technologies is a leading provider of enterprise data automation solutions to the financial services industry. For three decades, we've helped banks, brokers, insurers, asset managers and corporates take control of their most mission-critical data with our Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Services solutions. Our clients include some of the world's buy side, sell side and service providers.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Digital & Demand Executive to join our marketing team and run the digital channels that turn Gresham's brand and content into pipeline, across our website, search, AI-driven discovery and HubSpot-led outbound and inbound campaigns.
Marketing at Gresham is data driven and AI first. We use data to decide where to invest, who to target and how to measure what works, and we embed AI across how we research, create, optimise and report, with human oversight and governance. Every channel is run with a clear target, and every decision is tested against the numbers.
The Role
This is a hands-on, all-encompassing role for a fast, ambitious and commercially minded digital marketer who wants to run the channels that drive leads. You will be accountable for how Gresham is found, how it converts and how it measures what works: from website design and optimisation, to Google search (SEO) and LLM discoverability (GEO), to researching and identifying qualified prospects and running outbound HubSpot lead generation and Business Development sequences as a lead source.
Your core accountability: you are responsible and accountable for generating high quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to defined targets. This is the key deliverable of the role, and your performance will be measured on it. Every channel you run, and every decision you make, should be directed at delivering MQLs that are of the right quality, from the right accounts and personas, in the right volume.
You will be a HubSpot Marketing expert who can build, test and ship quickly, and who is comfortable turning data into decisions. You will want to run these marketing channels end to end, implement change through the digital experience, and be measured on the high quality MQLs you generate against defined targets.
You'll be part of a small, dynamic marketing team, working closely with sales, product and the wider marketing and events colleagues. You'll need to be responsible, self-directed and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver MQLs across all lead sources: inbound web and search (SEO and GEO), inbound campaigns, and outbound HubSpot sequences, events and webinars.Key Responsibilities
MQL Generation & Accountability
• Be responsible and accountable for generating high quality MQLs against defined targets, agreed with the Head of Global Marketing and Communications
• Own MQL delivery across all channels in the role: website, search (SEO), LLM discoverability (GEO), inbound campaigns and outbound HubSpot lead generation and Business Development sequences and events.
• Agree and maintain the MQL definition, scoring criteria and target account and persona profile with sales, so that quality is prioritised alongside volume
• Track and report on MQL volume, quality, source and conversion into sales qualified leads and pipeline, with a regular view of performance against target
• Flag any shortfall against target early, with a clear recovery plan, and continually reprioritise effort towards the channels and campaigns that deliver the best MQLs
Web Design & Optimisation
• Gresham website (HubSpot CMS), including design, build, page templates, content publishing and ongoing improvement
• Lead conversion rate optimisation: user journeys, landing pages, calls to action, forms, A/B testing and page speed
• Translate campaign and product priorities into high-performing, on-brand digital experiences that drive enquiries and demo requests
• Monitor site performance, user behaviour and conversion data, and act quickly on what the numbers show
• Outbound lead generation campaigns, sequences and business development out reach to facilitate conversion
Search (SEO) & LLM Discoverability (GEO)
• Execute Gresham's Google search strategy in partnership with external agency, covering technical, on-page and content SEO, keyword strategy and authority building
• Support Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO): ensure Gresham and its products are accurately and prominently surfaced by LLMs and AI search tools
• Structure and optimise content, schema and site architecture so it is easily discovered, understood and cited by both search engines and AI models
• Track visibility, rankings, AI citations and inbound traffic, and report on the leads generated through search and LLM channels
• Work with content and product marketing colleagues to commission and optimise content that earns inbound demand
Outbound Lead Generation & Business Development Sequences
• Research and identify qualified prospects: target accounts and decision makers that match our ideal customer profile, building and enriching prospect lists in HubSpot
• Plan, build and run outbound HubSpot lead generation campaigns and sequences as a direct source of MQLs, targeting priority accounts, personas and segments
• Design and manage Business Development sequences with the sales team, to convert researched, targeted prospects into MQLs, qualified conversations and meetings
• Manage email, nurture and workflow automation in HubSpot, from audience build through to testing, delivery and optimisation
• Coordinate lead handover, scoring and follow-up with sales, and close the loop on lead quality and pipeline contribution
Inbound Campaigns
• Plan and deliver inbound campaigns that use web optimisation, search and LLM discoverability to capture and convert demand
• Build landing pages, forms, offers and nurture journeys that move prospects from first visit to sales-ready lead
• Work with the wider team to align digital campaigns with content, product launches, events and brand priorities
Data, Targeting & Measurement
• Collate and curate Gresham's marketing data, including HubSpot CRM and marketing database health, segmentation, enrichment and hygiene
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting on MQL performance against target, funnel performance, channel effectiveness and return on investment
• Use data to sharpen targeting, prioritise activity and demonstrate the impact of digital marketing to the wider business
• Recommend, and then implement, improvements to processes, tools and measurement
Events & Team Support
• Support the marketing and events team on large events and during peak times in the marketing calendar, including pre-event campaigns, registration and landing pages, lead capture and post-event follow-up
• Provide flexible, hands-on support across the team as priorities require, including occasional on-site support at events (UK and possibly international)
About You
• Expert-level HubSpot knowledge across Marketing Hub, CMS Hub and CRM, including workflows, sequences, lists, reporting and attribution (HubSpot certifications are a strong advantage)
• Proven experience in digital marketing, demand generation or marketing operations, ideally within B2B technology, SaaS or financial services
• Demonstrable experience in SEO and a clear understanding of how GEO and LLM discoverability are changing B2B search
• Experience designing, building and optimising websites, with a strong understanding of UX and conversion principles (HTML/CSS skills and design tool experience, e.g. Figma, Canva or Adobe, are a plus)
• Skilled at researching and identifying qualified prospects, building targeted prospect lists and turning them into MQLs through outbound sequences
• Experience running outbound email and sequence-based lead generation campaigns, ideally working alongside a sales or business development team
• Comfortable with direct reach out to aid lead conversion
• Demonstrable track record of owning and delivering MQL or lead generation targets, with comfort in being measured on them
• AI proficiency: confident, hands-on use of AI tools in everyday work, such as for prospect research, content and campaign optimisation, analysis and automation, with sound judgement on quality, accuracy and governance, and the curiosity to keep adopting new tools as they emerge
• Highly analytical, comfortable working with data to target, measure and improve performance
• Fast, efficient and organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ambitious, smart and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to execute and see change through
• Strong written communication skills, with a good eye for tone, clarity and brand consistency
• Flexible and collaborative, willing to support colleagues and travel occasionally for large events
• A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is desirable but not essential. Experience in capital markets, financial services or related technology is also desirable
• Eager to learn, develop new skills and grow professionally within the role, with a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges, expanding responsibilities and progressing within Gresham as the business continues to evolve.
Salary Range - 80K-90K
