Digital Marketing & Growth Intern

Friendly Voice App is looking for a technically curious intern who wants to help people with special needs communicate. You’ll create practical training videos and blog posts, test app features, and help spread awareness and adoption of the app. This is a remote only 3-month internship. Initially without compensation, and a chance for that later on.

What you’ll work on

• Create training videos that demonstrate app features.
• Write blog posts about app features, communication support, user tips, and product updates.
• Test the app on mobile devices, follow user workflows, and report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce.
• Help improve tutorials and product content based on testing and user feedback.
• Support digital marketing and growth by helping publish and share content across relevant multi-media channels.

What we’re looking for

• Must be self-motivated and not looking to be micro-managed.
• A genuine interest in supporting people with special needs, including people who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
• Strong writing skills and an ability to explain technical steps in plain language.
• Comfort learning and testing mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Interest or experience in video recording and editing, blogging, digital marketing, or social media.
• Care, patience, and attention to detail.
