Our Company
Now in our 25th year, CARAT* is an award-nominated fashion and fine jewellery brand. We've been making fine jewellery from non-mined gemstones long before the industry started talking about it. The mission continues: sustainable gemstones and inspiring jewellery since 2002.
We work exclusively in fine jewellery made with lab-grown diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires set in gold, sterling silver and gold vermeil.
The Role
CARAT* is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to lead performance, email, social, and creator and brand partnerships for a British fine jewellery brand now in its 25th year. £50,000–£60,000, full-time, London hybrid, starting January 2027.
This is our most important UK marketing role. Your first priority is commercial: holding our paid media agency to account so every pound of spend earns its place. Around that, you'll run the campaign calendar, email, CRM and loyalty, social, and our creator and brand partnerships.
It's a marketing management role, not a content creator role. You won't shoot content yourself, but you'll make sure the right people create it, on brief and on time. You'll report directly to the Founder, with design support from our Graphics Lead.
What you'll do
- Agency oversight and performance: lead our paid media agency across Meta and Google day to day. Track results weekly against blended, business-level numbers, challenge recommendations, and bring budget proposals to the Founder. Use AI tools to analyse data and automate reporting.
- Campaign calendar: own a 12-month plan built around our seasonality, with Christmas as the peak, so paid, email, social and partnerships go live together.
- Email, CRM and loyalty: own Klaviyo (campaigns, flows, segmentation) and our LoyaltyLion programme, judged on clicks, conversions and revenue.
- Social media: run our organic Instagram and TikTok day to day.
- Brand collaborations: approach and pitch brands that share our customer, and run each partnership end to end.
- Creators and UGC: build and manage a pool of UGC creators and influencers delivering fresh content every week, with clear briefs, fees and usage rights.
What we offer
- £50,000–£60,000, depending on experience.
- A full-time, permanent role with real ownership and a direct line to the Founder.
- Hybrid working: at least 1 day a week at our London office and showroom, otherwise remote within the UK.
How to apply: please send the following to hr@carat.co by 8 December 2026:
- Your CV.
- 2–3 examples of creator, UGC or brand collaboration campaigns you've run, with results.
- A short note, no more than 300 words, covering one campaign you ran, what you spent and what it returned, and one thing you would change about CARAT London's social channels or emails, and why.
We'll reply to every application.
Qualifications
Essential
- 4–6 years in digital marketing, ideally at an online-first jewellery, fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand.
- You've managed a paid media agency on Meta and Google, and you're confident with MER, ROAS, CAC and AOV. You know platform-reported numbers overstate results.
- Hands-on Klaviyo experience, and experience running a customer loyalty programme (LoyaltyLion ideally).
- A track record of cold outreach to brands that turned into live collaborations, and of managing UGC creators and influencers.
- Comfortable using AI tools to analyse data and work more efficiently.
- Organised and self-directed, with a strong eye for content and clear, polished written English.
- The right to work in the UK, and able to be in our London office at least 1 day a week.
Nice to have
- Shopify experience, knowledge of fine jewellery or lab-grown diamonds, or an existing network of UK creators and brands.
