Digital Marketing & SEO Virtual Assistant

Rockstar is hiring a full-time Marketing & SEO Virtual Assistant on behalf of an industrial equipment distributor looking to strengthen their online presence and marketing outreach.

This role covers the full range of digital marketing for the business: website management, SEO strategy and execution, email marketing through Constant Contact, and social media management. The ideal candidate has genuine, hands-on SEO experience and is comfortable owning marketing efforts independently, from website updates to building out email campaigns and maintaining an active social media presence.

About the Client

This is a family-owned distributor of pumps, motors, and industrial equipment for water, wastewater, air, and industrial applications, in business since 1944. Known for high-quality, reliable products and strong technical expertise, they support customers across a wide range of industries, from municipalities and schools to hospitals and industrial facilities.

The company operates with a lean sales structure and no dedicated in-house cold-calling team today, this role is central to changing that and expanding their reach into new states and territories.

Key Responsibilities

Website & SEO

• Manage and update the company website on an ongoing basis
  
• Own SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking
  
• Monitor website and search performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  

Email Marketing

• Build and manage email campaigns through Constant Contact
  
• Maintain and segment email contact lists
  
• Track email performance and adjust strategy based on results
  

Social Media

• Manage social media presence across relevant platforms
  
• Create and schedule content consistent with the company's brand
  
• Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries or comments as needed
  

Tools & Systems

• Constant Contact
  
• Website CMS platform
  
• Social media management/scheduling tools
  
• SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar)
  

Requirements

Strong, hands-on SEO experience required

Prior experience managing websites and executing SEO strategy

Experience with Constant Contact or similar email marketing platforms

Social media management experience across common platforms

Comfortable working independently and owning marketing execution end-to-end

Strong written English communication skills
