Digital Marketing Strategist (Japanese/English)

Victoria Media helps Japanese companies reach the world through short-form video and LinkedIn. We create content that gets overseas audiences to think "I want to work with this company" and turns views into inquiries and business deals.

We are looking for a bilingual (Japanese/English) digital marketing strategist and creator who can plan, shoot and edit Reels, TikTok and Shorts for global audiences, and who wants to grow into our future Head of Digital Marketing.

What you will do

Plan, shoot, edit, post and analyze short-form videos for global audiences, using AI tools at every step

Write and manage LinkedIn posts in English and Japanese

Look at the numbers and improve what we publish

Direct outside editors and check quality

Over time, take on strategy and client proposals

Who we are looking for

Business-level spoken Japanese and English (native level not required)

A portfolio is required: links to short-form videos or social media accounts you have created. The more results you can show (views, followers, client work), the better

Based in or near Tokyo, able to join shoots and meetings in person

Reliable, asks questions early, and wants to grow fast

Thinks with data and logic, not just gut feeling

Nice to have

Experience growing your own or a brand's social media account

Uses AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude daily

International students graduating in Japan are welcome

You will work directly with our founder, a JETRO alumnus with 8 years of marketing experience who has grown many social media accounts, and learn his playbook along with cutting-edge AI workflows.

Conditions

Contract (full-time, weekdays around 9:00 to 18:00), with the possibility of full-time employment based on performance

JPY 280,000 to 400,000 per month, based on skills and experience

Hybrid: mostly remote, in person in Tokyo for shoots and meetings

Location: Tokyo only. You must currently live in or near Tokyo (in-person shoots and meetings are required)
