Digital PR Account Executive

A bit about Bottle

Bottle is an independent, award-winning digital PR agency based in Oxford: the digital PR agency for Fame & Findability. We combine more than 20 years of journalist relationships with SEO, AI and social expertise.

It's no longer enough for a brand to be top of mind; it needs to be top of find too. That's why everything we do is built around Fame & Findability™: earning coverage that makes brands famous when people aren't looking for them, and easy to find when they are, whether that's on Google, on social or in the answers AI models give.

Our Strategy, Creative and Comms teams work side by side for brands including Nationwide, Staysure, Petgevity, Geetas, and Mira Showers and our creative campaigns regularly win awards. If variety is your thing and the idea of being at the forefront of digital PR gets you buzzing, this could be the job for you.

The role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Digital PR Account Executive to join our Comms team in Oxford. The Comms team crafts the stories and works with journalists and influencers to get our clients' brands in front of the audiences they want to reach.

You'll work alongside our talented crew, getting hands-on experience across every part of digital PR. This isn't just about learning the ropes, it's about building skills that will set you up for a brilliant career in communications.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting always-on PR programmes and award-winning hero campaigns for a mix of household names and growing brands
  • Researching and developing story ideas that journalists can't ignore, from data-led stories to reactive comment on the news of the day
  • Writing press releases, pitches and content that people actually want to read
  • Building media lists and creator lists and getting to know journalists and influencers
  • Tracking coverage and pulling together reports that show the impact of our work
  • Learning how stories build visibility in search, on social and in AI-generated answers

All about you

We value potential over a perfect CV and welcome applications from all walks of life. Here's what gets us excited:

  • A genuine interest in digital PR, the media and how people discover brands
  • Strong writing skills: you can write clearly, accurately and in your own voice
  • Confident spoken communication, on the phone and face to face
  • A sharp eye for detail and a natural knack for staying organised
  • A creative, curious mind, with an interest in current affairs, consumer trends and digital culture
  • An appetite to learn, take feedback and keep improving

PR agency experience would be brilliant, but it isn't essential. We're much more interested in your potential, your transferable skills and your enthusiasm.

Why you'll want to join us

The money stuff:

  • £27,417 starting salary
  • Hybrid working: three days a week in our Oxford office and two from home
  • Relocation support if you want to make the move to Oxford

The good life perks:

  • Cycle to work and EV salary sacrifice schemes
  • 5 weeks' holiday + your birthday off + our '3 for 2' Christmas deal
  • Contributory pension, health cash plan and access to a training platform
  • A team that genuinely loves hanging out together (and regular socials to prove it)

Our commitment to everyone

We believe diverse teams do the best work. We're building an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of background, education or previous experience, and we welcome applications from everyone, regardless of race, religious beliefs, age, sex, sexual orientation or disability.

If you're neurodivergent or need any adjustments at any stage of the process, just let us know when you apply.

How to apply

Email careers@wearebottle.com with "Digital PR Account Executive" in the subject line, including:

  • Your CV
  • Either a cover letter or a short video telling us why you're interested in the role and in Bottle

Writing is at the heart of what we do, so please write your cover letter yourself, without using AI tools. We want to hear your voice, not Claude’s.

Before you apply, please check:

  • Right to work: unfortunately, we can't offer visa sponsorship for this role, now or in the future.
  • Location: you'll need to be in our Oxford office three days a week, so please make sure the journey is manageable for you.

The process

It won't be scary, we promise! Here's what to expect:

  • Application review: we'll check a couple of practical questions with you, including right to work and location. Our team then reviews CVs anonymously, so we can focus on your skills and potential.
  • Writing test: shortlisted applicants will take a one-hour writing test from home, at a time we agree with you. You don't need any PR experience for this; it's all about how well you write.
  • Interview: we'll invite up to three candidates to an interview with members of our Comms team, ideally in person at our Oxford office. We'll talk about your CV, why you want to join Bottle and examples of things you've done.
  • Offer: we'll let everyone know the outcome at each stage.

Closing date for CVs and cover letters: 13th November 2026

We look forward to hearing from you!
