Digital Product Owner – EMR & API Integration At the Vitrolife Group, we work every day to unlock the full potential of science and technology to reduce the barriers towards building a family. Together we help our customers and their patients to fulfill the dream of having a baby. We are looking for a Digital Product Owner – EMR & API Integration to join our Customer Success Development team. Help shape how fertility clinics connect their EMR systems with Vitrolife's products and services—and make every day work simpler for the people supporting patients on their journey to parenthood. Our vision is to create a connected, scalable integration experience that makes clinic onboarding and integration quick and easy, improves workflows in IVF clinics and within Vitrolife, and makes it simpler for clinics to work with Vitrolife products and services, including genetic testing, time-lapse systems, and electronic witnessing solutions. The product is at an early stage, with an initial MVP. This is a hands-on building role in which you will help develop the product into a scalable offering and establish effective ways of working as the domain grows. Strong technical product judgment will be especially valuable in the near term as you work closely with the Tech Lead, developers, and external technical teams. As the product develops, the role will increasingly focus on business value, adoption, and expansion. Main Purpose You own product direction, scope, priorities, and outcomes, aligned with business strategy. You are accountable for value realization, return on investment (ROI), risk management, and long-term product health. The Tech Lead owns architecture and technical direction. You will work directly with fertility clinics to understand their workflows and needs. Your other primary external collaborators are EMR providers, with occasional contact with customers' integration partners. Internally, Business Process Owners are your key collaborators for process and data requirements. Location: Valencia | 4+1 remote work policy | Full-time Reports to: Head of Customer Care Center of Excellence (CoE). Please note that only CVs submitted in English will be reviewed. Key Responsibilities Product Direction & Delivery Own and communicate the vision, roadmap, backlog, and release priorities. Prioritize by value, reuse, risk, dependencies, feasibility, and total cost of ownership. Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; accept delivered functionality and validate outcomes with Business Process Owners and subject matter experts. Customer & Internal Process Requirements Talk directly with clinics to understand and validate what they need to send, receive, and retrieve through their EMRs. With Business Process Owners, define the data, quality, completeness, and timing needed for efficient internal processes. API & EMR Provider Experience Make integrations straightforward to implement and support, covering API documentation, onboarding, testing, production readiness, monitoring, support, versioning, and backward compatibility. Balance provider-specific needs with consistent, scalable API capabilities. Technical & Cross-Domain Collaboration Work with the Tech Lead, developers, and external technical teams on product options and trade-offs; provide technically credible feedback on reliability, security, privacy, data flows, and integration design. Align shared capabilities and dependencies with other Digital Product Owners, the Enterprise Architect, and enabling teams; resolve or escalate cross-domain conflicts. Adoption & Continuous Improvement Coordinate rollout and operational readiness with EMR providers, Customer Success, and internal teams. Use feedback and KPIs to improve adoption, data quality, integration reliability, operational efficiency, and realized business value. What You Need to Succeed Predictable EMR onboarding, growing adoption of reusable integrations, and reliable data flows that reduce manual work and improve customer and internal processes. Core Requirements • Proven experience personally building and scaling a B2B API or integration product from MVP or first production launch to adoption across multiple customers or systems. • 5+ years in product ownership or product management, combining product strategy with hands-on prioritization and delivery in agile or product-oriented environments. • Strong technical product experience from software, APIs, or integrations, including the ability to give constructive feedback, discuss solution options with internal developers and external technical teams, and translate clinic workflows and internal process needs into API requirements. • Technical fluency in APIs, data contracts, authentication, versioning, backward compatibility, and reliability. Able to read API documentation, follow data flows, and make technically credible product trade-offs with the Tech Lead and developers; coding is not required. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including collaboration with Business Process Owners, aligning expectations, and saying no to misaligned or low-value requests. • Fluent English, written and verbal. Additional Qualification • EMR/EHR, healthcare, or laboratory-system experience, and familiarity with standards such as FHIR or HL7. • Previous experience as a software or integration developer, solution architect, technical business analyst, or implementation consultant is beneficial but not required. What We Offer • Meaningful product ownership in an international healthcare company, working closely with business, IT, and product colleagues. • Competitive compensation, medical insurance, and flexible benefits. • Discounts on our employee platform and gym memberships. *Please submit your CV in English.
