This role connects Product, R&D, and Information Technology teams to ensure services are reliable, scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned to product roadmaps and business outcomes.
This role blends service ownership, product enablement, technical fluency, stakeholder partnership, and delivery leadership to translate engineering needs into priorities, manage the service lifecycle, coordinate solution decisions, and drive measurable improvements in adoption, reliability, compliance, supportability, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, lifecycle, performance, cost, and support model for product-enabling services, platforms, and tools.
- Partner with Product, R&D, and Information Technology teams to convert business priorities and engineering needs into service capabilities and delivery plans.
- Define service offerings, adoption plans, support expectations, escalation paths, operational handoffs, and knowledge requirements so the service is consumable, supportable, and understood by stakeholders.
- Support SDLC, Agile, DevSecOps, release planning, environment readiness, integration needs, application lifecycle management, and operational transition for software-enabled products.
- Ensure services align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, compliance, IT service management, vendor management, and product development standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, incident reduction, technical debt reduction, vendor performance, service simplification, cost optimization, and measurable value realization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software delivery, product engineering systems or related technology roles.
- Experience working with product, engineering, R&D, architecture, cybersecurity, support, and vendor teams in a matrixed environment.
- Hands on experience of SDLC, Agile delivery, DevSecOps, ALM, PLM, integrations, cloud platforms, data, security, and IT service management.
- Ability to translate business and engineering needs into roadmaps, requirements, priorities, service improvements, investment recommendations, and operational actions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
Key Competencies
- Technofunctional understanding of software product development, smart product services, engineering workflows, and IT service operations.
- Service portfolio thinking, including service definition, service offerings, lifecycle management, support model design, and business value measurement.
- Roadmap, backlog, release, vendor, financial, demand, and support management.
- Architecture awareness, including integrations, data flows, platform dependencies, security, compliance, scalability, and reuse.
- Strong stakeholder management across Product, R&D, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, IT, cybersecurity, vendors, and leadership teams.
- Clear communication, prioritization, problem solving, decision facilitation, and influence across cross-functional teams.
Ideal Profile
- Service-owner mindset with strong product, engineering, and R&D partnership skills.
- Technically fluent enough to understand SDLC, software platforms, integrations, data, architecture dependencies, security expectations, and operational support needs.
- Business-focused enough to prioritize value, adoption, service quality, cost, risk, and measurable outcomes.
- Delivery-focused and comfortable coordinating decisions across teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.
- Continuous-improvement oriented, with a practical bias toward simplifying services, improving supportability, and enabling faster product delivery.
