Job Description

KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join their team.

About this Opportunity

Reporting to KUOW’s Product Manager, Digital Media Products, the Digital Project Manager is responsible for coordinating KUOW’s technology projects from planning through implementation and evaluation. The position defines project goals, scope, schedules, stakeholders, risks, success measures, and communication plans. The position coordinates work across participating teams, tracks progress and supports successful launches and post-project reviews.

The position serves as a central point of coordination among KUOW leadership, editorial and business teams, and external partners. Candidates may come from technology, operations, communications, public media, nonprofit, government, or other project-management environments and should be comfortable working with people in different roles and with varying levels of project experience. The Digital Project Manager helps KUOW teams create realistic sprint and quarterly plans, maintain a shared understanding of priorities and capacity, keep projects organized and moving, identify risks and obstacles early, coordinate follow-up, and communicate clearly with leads, participating staff, and leadership.
