Director – AI Center of Excellence (AI COE)

We at Innovecture are hiring for a "Director – AI Center of Excellence (AI COE)" to expand our team, this is a Remote position in India. You will work across various Innovecture and client teams and apply your technical expertise to some of the most complex and challenging technology problems.

We are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Director to build and lead our AI Center of Excellence (COE). This role combines technical leadership, AI innovation, team building, and business growth.

• 10+ years in technology, with 4+ years in hands-on AI/ML engineering or architecture roles
• Proven experience building or leading an AI/ML team, practice, or center of excellence
• Demonstrable record of delivering AI solutions in production — not just strategy or advisory
• People management experience: hiring, coaching, performance management of technical professionals
• Background in a consulting, professional services, or technology services environment strongly preferred
• Exposure to presales or client-facing delivery in an AI or data context

• Deep working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Hands-on proficiency with frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Hugging Face, PyTorch / TensorFlow
• Experience with cloud-native AI services: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure OpenAI/AI Studio, GCP Vertex AI
• MLOps best practices: CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, feature stores, drift detection, and evaluation pipelines
• Strong Python skills; familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and data architecture patterns
