The ideal candidate brings expertise in career and leadership development and understands how to connect people to relevant learning, resources, and opportunities. You enjoy managing programs and partnerships, coordinating complex work, and ensuring participants have a high-quality experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning plans into action and delivering meaningful career development support.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Apply adult learning principles to translate program content into engaging and accessible learning experiences. Manage learning platform content and participant access, and maintain a centralized resource repository to ensure materials remain current, organized, and easy to navigate.
  • Manage Career Center programs from planning through execution (30%): Coordinate the delivery of Career Center programs and partner-supported learning experiences. Manage timelines, recruitment efforts, and program logistics. Develop communications and promotional content that help participants understand, access, and engage with available opportunities. Coordinate planning meetings and follow-up activities to ensure high-quality participant experiences and successful program execution.
  • Improve Career Center content and participant engagement (10%): Develop website content, navigation, and participant journeys around career interests and developmental needs; manage web content updates through uConnect or a comparable platform; and collaborate across TFA to connect resources to participants at different career stages.

A WEEK IN THE LIFE

You may coordinate an upcoming webinar or Career Center program, manage participant communications, and develop promotional content that helps participants discover and engage with available opportunities. You might research prospective partners, prepare outreach and renewal communications, or update partnership webpages to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and engaging. You may also develop self-guided learning content, update career pathway resources, or maintain content within Career Center websites and learning platforms. Throughout the week, you will coordinate program execution, manage digital resources, and help ensure Career Center offerings are organized, accessible, and easy to navigate.
