About Lifeforce

We are in the early stages of a generational shift in how people approach their health. No longer satisfied with the reactive, fragmented care offered by the traditional healthcare system, millions of people are taking a more proactive approach. They want to understand how their bodies work, take control of how they feel and perform, and invest in living longer, healthier lives. Lifeforce is leading this shift as the world's largest longevity medicine program.

Founded alongside clinical and scientific leaders from Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School, Lifeforce brings together the diagnostics, expertise, and treatments people need to understand and optimize their health, both today and for decades to come. Our comprehensive program combines advanced diagnostics, expert clinicians, dedicated health coaches, and personalized supplement, pharmaceutical, and lifestyle protocols. All delivered from home, at the price of a gym membership.

Overview

Lifeforce is hiring a Director, Clinical Operations to run the operating engine behind our national proactive care delivery model. You'll own how clinicians get licensed, credentialed, onboarded, scheduled, supported, and reviewed for quality, and you'll make sure all of it holds up as we grow.

And we're growing fast. Our network of 50+ physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants is expected to more than triple over the next 15 months, across a growing number of states. At the same time, we're opening physical longevity centers and the clinicians supporting those centers run through this role too. The systems that work for a network of 50 won't work at 200, and this role is the one that gets us there ahead of demand rather than behind it.

This is primarily an operations leadership role, not a clinical one. Clinical standards and clinical judgment stay with the Medical Director and clinical leadership. You'll own the people, processes, systems, and data that let clinicians do their best work at scale. You'll report to the COO and lead four teams: Clinical Operations, Clinical Onboarding & Enablement, Credentialing & Licensing, and Clinical Quality Assurance. You'll start with a small team and build it out to about 15 people by the end of 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity & Scheduling

  • Own clinician capacity planning against member demand, state by state. Know where we'll be short a quarter before it happens.

  • Own clinician scheduling, including how appointments are assigned across telehealth, nurse services, and our centers, and how continuity of care is protected as the network grows. Work with Product and Engineering to build the tools for scheduling that the teams need.

  • Track utilization, panel concentration, and access (time to next appointment), and act when they drift.

  • Hire to Productive

  • Own the full clinician pipeline after the offer: licensure, credentialing, onboarding, training, and ramp to full schedule.

  • Set and hit targets for time to credentialed and time- to-productive, and fix the bottlenecks in between.

  • Build a licensure and DEA strategy that ensures compliance and keeps pace with growth.

  • Quality & Clinician Performance

  • Own the operations of the clinical QA program, so every clinician is reviewed on schedule and the results reach the people who need them. The Clinical QA Lead reports to you, with a dotted line to the Medical Director on clinical standards.

  • Build the operating process for clinician performance management with the Medical Director and clinical leadership. They own the clinical judgment; you own the cadence, data, documentation, and follow-through.

  • Make sure the review approach and the follow-up fit our independent contractor model.

  • SOPs, Systems & Change Management

  • Own the clinical SOP lifecycle: intake, drafting with clinical owners, approval, rollout, and retirement, with Guru as the system of record.

  • Run changes so clinicians hear about them once, clearly, and know what they need to do differently.

  • Own the clinical operations tool stack (Healthie, Rippit, Guru, and our scheduling and credentialing tools) and the vendors behind it.

  • Metrics & Reporting

  • Build and optimize the clinician and clinical operations scorecards: capacity, utilization, time-to-productive, credentialing status, quality, satisfaction, adherence, and clinician and member retention.

  • Partner with Data & Analytics to automate it, and use it to run the business and report up to the COO and executive team as well as across the clinical and clin ops orgs.

  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Hire, develop, and lead the managers and leads across your four teams, and set structure and spans as the teams grow.

  • Support the clinicians serving our franchise centers, and partner with the Director, Clinical Franchise Operations so telehealth and center operations share standards and systems.

  • Work closely with the Medical Director and Deputy Medical Directors, Recruiting, CX, Pharmacy Operations, and Product.

  • Own the clinical operations budget and headcount plan.

  • What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days: map how clinician ops actually runs today and set a baseline on the core metrics. Get the new Onboarding & Enablement Manager and Clinical QA Lead fully ramped. Publish a capacity plan by state through the end of 2027, and get clear visibility into where every clinician in the pipeline stands.

In your first year: clinician capacity stays ahead of member demand in every state we serve. New clinicians move from offer to full schedule on a predictable, measured timeline. Every clinician is reviewed on schedule, SOPs are current and in one place, and the scorecard runs without manual pulls. Your four teams are built out with strong leaders, and the operation is ready for the next stage of growth.

    Qualifications

    Required

  • 8+ years in healthcare operations, including 3+ years leading managers.

  • Experience in direct-to-consumer telehealth, or in longevity, concierge, or preventive medicine.

  • Has scaled a clinician network through fast growth at a telehealth company, a multi-site provider group, or a similar organization.

  • Hands-on experience with clinician capacity planning, scheduling, or workforce management.

  • Working knowledge of multi-state licensure and credentialing, and how they gate clinician supply.

  • Has built and run onboarding, QA, or SOP programs that held up as volume grew.

  • Comfortable with data: defines metrics, builds reporting with analytics partners, and uses it to make decisions.

  • Has earned credibility with physicians and advanced practice clinicians as a non-clinical leader, and knows where operations ends and clinical judgment begins.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • Self-directed and effective in a fully remote environment.

  • Preferred

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in both strategy or consulting and hands-on operational roles

  • Experience with multi-site or franchise healthcare operations.

  • Experience running an independent contractor (1099) clinician model.

  • Experience with Healthie, Rippit (formerly MaestroQA), Guru, or similar tools.

  • Has introduced automation or AI tools into clinical operations workflows.

  • Traits for Success

  • Builds the system before it breaks, not after.

  • Comfortable holding clinicians and clinical leaders to operating standards without being a clinician.

  • Moves between strategy and the details of a broken workflow in the same day.

  • Pairs every problem with a recommendation.

  • Keeps the member and the clinician experience in view when making operating decisions.

  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

  • What We Offer

  • Remote working environment

  • Company-provided computer and other required equipment

  • Generous benefits package including Healthcare, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

  • Complimentary Lifeforce Membership for Full Time Employees

  • We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
