Our world is transforming, and PTC is leading the way. Our software brings the physical and digital worlds together, enabling companies to improve operations, create better products, and empower people in all aspects of their business.
Our people make all the difference in our success. Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.
PTC's Organizational Change Management (OCM) practice has grown from a founding idea into a profitable, high-demand business in the U.S., backed by a rapidly expanding pipeline and a roster of Fortune 500 aerospace, defense, MedTech and industrial manufacturing customers. The next chapter of this growth story is EMEA, and we're looking for a Director, EMEA OCM & Customer Adoption leader to lead it.
This is a rare opportunity for a leader who wants to build and run a business, not simply deliver a service. You will take full, end-to-end ownership of the EMEA region. This includes adapting a proven U.S. playbook to Europe's customers, culture, and market dynamics, with accountability for regional bookings and revenue, direct people leadership, and a mandate to shape how digital transformation and change management show up across strategic EMEA customers.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: equal parts regional general manager, change-management practitioner, and cross-functional orchestrator, working \with Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers, Business Solution Managers, and Market/Regional leaders across Europe. It reports directly to PTC's Global OCM & Adoption Leader and carries the same level of strategic visibility as our most senior Customer Success leadership roles.
OCM is not a niche delivery function at PTC, it is a named growth priority with active, ongoing sponsorship from PTC's CEO and Customer Success leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Commercial Leadership & GTM Strategy
- Build and execute an EMEA-specific go-to-market strategy for OCM and digital transformation, in partnership with Business Solution Managers, Market Leads, and Regional Directors.
- Own EMEA OCM bookings and revenue targets, with disciplined forecasting and reporting into the global OCM leadership cadence.
- Personally shape, scope, and price complex OCM opportunities; especially Director+ and executive-level conversations that require deep change-management and transformation expertise.
- Convert the existing and emerging EMEA pipeline, spanning global aerospace, industrial equipment, and automotive manufacturers, into signed, delivered engagements.
- Partner with Sales, BSMs, and Market Leads so OCM is embedded into the deal cycle from the start.
2. Global Methodology Partnership & Regional Adaptation
- Partner closely with the Global OCM and Adoption Delivery Leader — who owns and drives PTC's global OCM methodology — to adapt and localize the delivery playbook and toolkits for EMEA, ensuring the region applies the methodology consistently and with fidelity to the global standard.
- Identify where EMEA-specific adaptation is required -- language, works councils, data residency, and customer culture, and lead that localization effort.
- Maintain delivery quality and consistency with the global framework as the region scales.
- Represent the EMEA perspective in the ongoing evolution of the global methodology, helping it mature into a truly global capability.
3. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership Across Europe
- Directly manage and grow the EMEA OCM delivery team, starting with the regional delivery hub and scaling headcount as pipeline converts to backlog.
- Partner day-to-day with Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, and Customer Success leadership across Europe to embed OCM into delivery engagements from kickoff through go-live.
- Represent OCM in regional leadership forums, quarterly business reviews, and strategic account planning sessions.
- Build strong working relationships with country and market leads to ensure OCM is positioned consistently across every EMEA geography.
4. Coaching, Mentoring & Executive Presence
- Coach and mentor direct reports and extended EMEA adoption/OCM contributors, including Customer Success Managers delivering OCM packages.
- Represent OCM at EMEA leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, customer executive sessions, and industry events.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with customer executives, PTC's regional leadership, and cross-functional peers.
- Champion OCM's value story internally so EMEA Customer Success Managers, BSMs, and sales leaders confidently and consistently bring OCM into customer conversations.
5. Delivery Excellence & Practice Economics
- Own delivery quality and customer outcomes across all EMEA OCM and digital-transformation engagements.
- Manage the practice's economics, staffing, utilization, and margin, for the regional team.
- Develop reusable, scalable delivery assets tailored to EMEA-specific needs.
- Cultivate customer success stories and reference-ability across the region.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in organizational change management, digital transformation, or large-scale enterprise system implementations, including leadership of a regional or country-level business unit.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a services or consulting practice, owning bookings, revenue, and margin, not delivery alone.
- Deep OCM/change-management expertise (Prosci or equivalent certification preferred), ideally applied to PLM, ALM, CAD, or other enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a direct team while operating as a peer to Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, and Sales leadership across multiple countries and cultures.
- Executive presence to engage Director-level and C-suite stakeholders in complex change and transformation conversations.
- Experience building go-to-market strategy and enabling sales/BSM teams to position, scope, and sell a specialized offering.
- Based in, or with strong professional ties to, Europe; fluent English required, additional European languages a strong plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
