ABOUT OUR ENGINEERING SCIENCES TEAM As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, but with a heavy focus on large industrial facilities like power plants, Oil & Gas facilities, chemical processing plants, construction, and similar. Outside of that work, you will be engaged in automotive, consumer products, consumer electronics, and medical devices. RESPONSIBILITIES Exceptional analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, and creativity are the foundation for successful professionals at Secretariat. Experience with various Water/Waste Water treatment plants processes, food and beverage production, and other consumer products. Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and or strategic consulting. Contributing to the growth of Secretariat’s Environmental Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff. Mentoring and driving growth of Environmental Engineering staff. Providing project management and project budget oversight. QUALIFICATIONS Established track record for business development and existing client base Requisite professional degrees and ~10 years of work experience PhD or MS degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science Excellent verbal and written communication Have previously testified in deposition, trial, arbitration or hearings Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills The desire to lead auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice The ability to travel as needed A rewarding career above all There are a lot of fine consulting firms out there.
