Position Overview: We are seeking a Director, FP&A Special Projects to support Corporate FP&A and enterprise-wide finance initiatives. This role is designed for a hands-on finance professional who understands corporate FP&A, brings a strong ownership attitude, and can step into high-priority projects, ad hoc requests from leadership, and cross-functional process improvements. As the Senior Manager, you will: Support Corporate FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level financial presentations. Lead and execute special projects that require strong financial analysis, hands-on modeling, cross-functional coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders. Respond to ad hoc requests from executive leadership and business partners with timely, accurate, and actionable analysis. Help drive finance process improvement initiatives, including standardization of reporting, enhancement of planning processes, and development of scalable FP&A tools. Support system implementation efforts, including ERP and EPM projects, by helping define business requirements, validate financial data, test workflows, and support user adoption. Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Operations, IT, and business teams to ensure financial information is accurate, consistent, and decision-ready . Bring a hands-on approach and strong ownership mindset to ambiguous, fast-moving projects where structure may need to be created from the ground up. Our ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A required; renewable and/or energy experience preferred. Strong understanding of Corporate FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, operating reviews, and management reporting. Hands-on financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights. Demonstrated ability to manage ad hoc requests from senior leadership and deliver high-quality analysis under tight timelines. Experience supporting finance system implementations, upgrades, or process transformations; ERP and EPM experience strongly preferred. Strong ownership attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to be hands-on while also thinking strategically. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business functions.
