About Us
At Gifthealth, we're revolutionizing the way people experience healthcare by simplifying the process of managing prescriptions and health services. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized, and efficient healthcare experience for all our customers. We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.
Position Summary
Gifthealth is hiring a Director, GTM Strategy & Operations to be a critical driver of launch success. This role sits at the center of marketing execution, orchestrating channel strategy and program-level capital allocation while staying close enough to the work to run tactics and optimize in-flight. As Gifthealth expands its services for patients, extends the therapeutic areas it supports for prescribers, and onboards new brand drug partners bringing their direct-to-patient programs onto the platform, this role will help shape the GTM approach for each new area. The ideal candidate moves fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution, and brings a B2B2C mindset: comfortable influencing clinical stakeholders along the prescription journey while also building adoption and adherence among patients starting treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Strategy: Orchestrate the end-to-end channel strategy across marketing, ensuring the right mix of channels is deployed at the right moments to drive launch success.
- Capital Allocation: Own program-level budget allocation across marketing investments, balancing near-term launch needs against longer-term brand and demand-generation goals.
- Tactical Execution & Optimization: Get into the details of campaign execution, testing, measuring, and optimizing tactics in real time.
- Prescriber Enablement: Partner with sales and account teams to create clinical collateral, campaign assets, and detailing tools that lower friction for prescribers supporting complex patient journeys.
- Patient Adoption & Adherence: Collaborate with product and marketing to design onboarding pathways and engagement strategies that help patients start and stay on treatment.
- Patient Services Expansion: Build the GTM plan as Gifthealth grows its suite of patient services, making sure each new offering launches with the right messaging and channel support in place.
- Therapeutic Area Growth: Extend prescriber-facing programs and enablement materials as Gifthealth adds new therapeutic areas of support.
- Brand Partner Onboarding: Work with business development and clinical teams to bring new brand drug programs onto Gifthealth's DTP platform, building the GTM plan for each partner launch.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the connective tissue across Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Medical Affairs, ensuring regulatory readiness and operational alignment ahead of every launch.
- Messaging Hierarchy Development: Build and maintain messaging hierarchies that flex appropriately across audience types, including clinicians and patients, so the right message, tone, and level of detail reach the right audience.
- Commercial Performance Reporting: Define and report on the KPIs that matter to GTM success, including prescriber acquisition, script volume growth, patient retention and adherence, and cost to acquire, alongside channel spend efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Licensure/Certification: Not applicable.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in GTM strategy, commercialization, or marketing operations, with direct ownership of channel strategy and budget.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required
- Capital allocation experience: Demonstrated ability to make and defend program-level investment decisions across marketing channels.
- Execution depth: Comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical level.
- Cross-functional collaboration: A track record of building alignment across marketing, sales, product, and clinical or medical stakeholders.
- Messaging versatility: Proven ability to create messaging hierarchies suited to varied audiences, including both clinicians and patients.
- B2B2C mindset: A track record of influencing both clinical B2B stakeholders, such as physicians and care teams, and consumer-facing patient audiences within the same GTM motion.
- Digital and specialty pharmacy acumen: Working understanding of the specialty medication lifecycle, provider workflow integration (e-prescribing, EHRs), prior authorization hurdles, and patient adherence challenges.
- Analytical rigor: Comfortable working with channel performance data to guide optimization and investment decisions.
Preferred
- Healthcare or life sciences marketing experience: Particularly in patient access or specialty pharma environments.
- Familiarity with the prescription journey: Including patient support programs and adherence-focused marketing.
- Agency and vendor management experience: Across creative, media, and analytics partners.
- Prior experience supporting a product or platform launch: From planning through post-launch optimization.
