Role summary

The Director Health and Benefits Analytics partners across Health and Benefits (client facing teams, advisory specialists, digital, sales) and other parts of Marsh including Workforce and Rewards to shape newer AI-enabled analytics offerings and to support their practical adoption with clients. The role complements adjacent AI transformation and enablement responsibilities by focusing on technical credibility, advisory packaging, commercialization, and market-facing analytics support. Reporting to the Health and Benefits Data Insights leader, this position balances global product and methodology leadership with regional go-to-market execution, helping Marsh deliver more consistent, scalable, and outcome-oriented analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

Global accountabilities

  • Apply actuarial, underwriting, and benefits expertise across the analytics suite to expedite newer client offerings, shaping data strategy, colleague workflows, and the client experience so that solutions are credible, relevant, and impactful.
  • Accelerate AI-enabled advisory solutions by developing repeatable advisory offerings that wrap around AI-powered analytics modules, including defining the core module elements needed to enable these solutions, such as site-of-care guidance or high-cost claims management.
  • Standardize and commercialize holistic benefits benchmarking globally in collaboration with Marsh Workforce and Rewards, defining consistent methodologies, a clear product vision, and a Total Rewards buyer commercialization strategy that supports scalable, repeatable offerings.
  • Support rollout, adoption, and capability uplift for analytics and AI solutions by upskilling Health and Benefit teams and client-facing colleagues to improve consistency, quality, and confidence in analytics delivery and interpretation.

Asia and Pacific accountabilities

  • Drive revenue and retention through analytics-led sales and delivery support by partnering on high-value pursuits and complex client situations, leading or supporting engagements with methodological rigor and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead regional analytics strategy and market representation by representing capabilities in client discussions, pursuits, RFPs, and events, and by surfacing regional needs to influence product and roadmap priorities.
  • Drive rollout, adoption, and change management by translating local needs into scalable opportunities and supporting adoption through practical enablement.

Role outcomes

  • Higher adoption of AI-powered analytics across Health and Benefits engagements.
  • More consistent and commercially scalable benchmarking and advisory offerings.
  • Improved client confidence in analytics-led recommendations and delivery.
  • Stronger regional revenue contribution from differentiated analytics capabilities.

Skills and experience

  • Deep health and benefits experience with actuarial, underwriting, or related analytics expertise.
  • Strong understanding of benchmarking, claims, site-of-care, or benefit design analytics.
  • Ability to translate technical content into practical client-facing propositions.
  • Commercial acumen with experience supporting pursuits, renewals, and complex client delivery.
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Experience enabling teams through training, tools, and repeatable operating models.

Working style

This role requires a collaborative leader who can operate globally while remaining responsive to regional priorities, balancing product rigor with commercial pragmatism and helping teams adopt new analytics capabilities with confidence.
