As a hands-on technical leader, the Director of Information Technology owns the strategy, deployment, and security across Promevo’s entire internal technology ecosystem. Managing Information Security, Systems Administration, and Internal Business Applications, this individual drives our infrastructure, systems, and compliance posture to remain highly secure, resilient, and scalable. The ideal candidate pairs deep technical capability with a track record of guiding complex internal initiatives, sustaining ISO 27001 standards while advancing SOC 2 compliance, and translating technical strategies into actionable insights for business leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Technical Project Leadership
IT Strategy & Technical Project Leadership
- Lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of all internal technology initiatives, aligning IT strategy with overall company objectives.
- Act as the technical lead and project manager for enterprise cross-functional initiatives, driving solutions from design and integration through adoption and retirement.
- Communicate complex technical concepts, risks, and project statuses clearly to executive leadership and non-technical department heads.
- Drive AI adoption and process automation across internal systems to streamline workflows and maximize organizational efficiency.
- Represent the Internal IT function regarding budget, resource allocation, tooling investments, and technology architecture.
Information Security & Compliance
- Own and maintain Promevo’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 27001.
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and audit readiness for expanding the security program into SOC 2 compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security awareness initiatives across the organization.
- Manage security incident response, threat mitigation, disaster recovery planning, and root-cause investigations.
Systems Administration & Infrastructure
- Direct the Systems Administration team to ensure maximum reliability, security, and scalability of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM), hardware lifecycle, network architecture, and SaaS tool management.
- Establish robust monitoring, backup, and automation practices to maintain high availability across all internal platforms.
Internal Business Applications & Engineering
- Partner with business owners across departments to evaluate, optimize, and integrate line-of-business applications.
- Serve as the hands-on architectural lead for systems integration, custom workflow engineering, and reporting infrastructure.
- Analyze current business software stacks to identify redundancies, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement AI-driven automation capabilities within line-of-business applications to reduce manual operational overhead.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in technical systems engineering, systems administration, or IT architecture.
- 3+ years leading IT/InfoSec teams with a proven track record of managing multi-departmental technical projects on time and on budget.
- Direct experience managing ISO 27001 compliance programs; hands-on experience or demonstrated capability in preparing for and achieving SOC 2 accreditation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business languages seamlessly.
- Strong background in SaaS management, API integrations, cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), identity providers, and business process automation.
- Proven track record of evaluating, implementing, and scaling AI tools and automated workflow solutions to drive business efficiency.
