Bring distinct brand stories together and help more people feel at home in nature.

As the Director of Integrated Marketing for the Americas, you will translate regional business goals into a cohesive strategy that brings our premium heritage brands—Fjällräven, Devold, Tova, and Hanwag—to life across all consumer touchpoints. Leading a talented team of marketing professionals across creative, community, PR, and operations, you will build a unified approach that serves the needs of the business through high-impact omnichannel campaigns and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

You’ll develop a thorough understanding of the unique needs and business goals of markets across the Americas, build strong, collaborative relationships locally, and partner closely with Global Marketing teams to advocate for our markets while respecting and embracing each brand’s voice and tone.

This role calls for an energetic, hands-on leader who can connect strategy with execution, develop people, and bring marketing and business teams together to accomplish our revenue goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Translate regional business and growth goals into a clear marketing strategy, bringing business and marketing teams together to create sustained market and revenue growth.

  • Own the strategic marketing planning process, providing clear guidance to teams creating and executing comprehensive strategies that unify storytelling, messaging, branding, and campaigns across marketing and sales channels.

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across sales and marketing, managing competing priorities, negotiating outcomes, and building consensus.

  • Partner closely with Global Marketing teams to advocate for the needs of markets in the Americas while respecting each brand’s identity, voice, and tone.

  • Pitch creative and strategic ideas to stakeholders, demonstrating an understanding of each channel and telling a cohesive brand story aligned with the strategic plan.

Integrated Campaigns & Execution

  • Serve as a critical bridge across wholesale, e-commerce, and retail, taking a player-coach approach to building unified seasonal campaigns that meet the distinct needs of each business channel.

  • Partner with sales organizations and local and global marketing teams to synchronize launch timelines and messaging toolkits.

  • Break down silos within marketing and across channels to drive the effective creation and use of assets from local and global teams.

  • Integrate brand voice and GTM tactics into the brand loyalty program.

  • Manage cross-channel marketing budgets, negotiate vendor and freelancer contracts, and keep multiple concurrent initiatives on schedule.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead marketing professionals across creative, community, PR, and operations through the execution of strategies aligned with business needs.

  • Serve as a leader-coach, supporting team members’ professional development and strengthening their ability to execute the marketing strategy and deliver on business goals.

WHAT YOU BRING

You’re a marketing leader who can turn broad business goals into cohesive campaigns and bring people along with you. You’re well organized, comfortable working with senior stakeholders, and able to influence thinking, build consensus, and guide a team from strategy through execution.

You bring:

  • At least 10 years of experience in brand or retail marketing.

  • Experience leading a multi-brand outdoor marketing organization.

  • Experience providing marketing support for wholesale, e-commerce, and retail businesses.

  • Experience working across both traditional advertising and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to translate business goals into clear marketing priorities.

  • Executive presence and the communication skills to engage senior stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, and build alignment across teams.

  • A hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to coach and develop people while supporting strong execution.

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage budgets and multiple concurrent initiatives.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience in outdoor specialty channels.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline is strongly preferred. A master’s degree is also welcomed. Relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and leadership capabilities carry more weight than formal education.
