Role Summary

The Director, Tax Advisory Corporate & International is responsible for leading tax advisory activities across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia Pacific region (comprising Macau, the Philippines, and Singapore), while also supporting global and cross-border international tax advisory matters across the Group. This role enables growth, proactive management of tax risk and ensures compliance with Group policy and tax laws.. The right individual will be ideally placed to make an enduring and positive impact, honing both their tax technical skills and commercial acumen in the technology sector.

The role will partner closely with Commercial teams, Group functions and external advisors. Our business is growing and looking for the right person to provide practical advice and implementation support on key corporate transactions and capital management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), new market entries and maintaining strong relationships with diverse finance teams.

What You'll Do

· Provide tax advice on business initiatives, restructures, new market entry, and cross-border intercompany transactions.

· Support M&A activity, divestments, and post-acquisition integration in the region, while contributing to broader international tax projects and initiatives as required.

· Support capital management initiatives, including dividends, capital returns, and intercompany funding arrangements.

· Collaborate with team members in the US and EMEA to support comprehensive transfer pricing policies and practices.

· Assist the Senior Director in advancing business growth and corporate projects.

· Act as the primary tax expert for the APAC region, providing technical guidance and interpretation of tax legislation with an emphasis on international tax and transfer pricing.

· Ensure alignment of tax advice to ongoing compliance obligations.

· Monitor and assess changes in regional tax laws and regulations, communicating impacts and recommendations to key team members.

· Support regional finance teams in managing tax audits, reviews, and inquiries, including preparation of responses to tax authorities. Lead these activities in Australia and New Zealand.

· Manage relationships with external advisers, auditors, and tax authorities across the APAC region.

· Lead, develop and mentor team members through supporting their skills growth, business partnering and the adoption of new technologies.

· Set clear priorities, drive high performance, and foster continuous improvement.
